The
Setting
The centre is set within its own grounds, comprising five acres of woodland and gardens, including a wildlife area, a walled organic vegetable garden, and a formal garden created as part of the BBC programme ‘Charlie’s Garden Army’ presented by Charlie Dimmock.
It is a very quiet and peaceful location, yet near to the city centre.

The centre and grounds are in turn situated within St Columbs Park – sixty acres of woodland and riverside walks, ideal for nature trails and other outdoor activities. The park has football pitches, tennis courts, and a running track. The City Council Recreation Centre is located a short walk away from St Columb's Park House, and provides indoor activities, such as squash, badminton, basketball, football, and a climbing wall.
For those who choose residential seminars and have some leisure time, Donegal and the Antrim coast are just a drive away.
